i woke up last saturday and my heart sank….it was simply pouring with rain……and it was kylie&joe’s wedding at dunkeld cathedral followed by a reception at blair atholl castle. however i had faith in the weatherman and he predicated that it was going to clear later that day……and he was right!!
kylie (&joe) were both getting ready (different quarters) in the gorgeous eastwood house just outside dunkeld…..the hills were covered in mist and the rooms were filled with laughter & fun!!! i have to say it is so much easier for me capturing the preparation shots when everything is happening under the one roof….i just dot around as required, popping in and out of rooms!!!
the wedding service at dunked cathedral was just beautiful and as it finished, the skies cleared (as predicted) and we managed to photograph some wonderful natural images in the grounds of dunkeld cathedral. at blair atholl castle, the sun actually came out and kylie&joe managed to have drinks and croquet on the lawn outside!! wonderful food & music to follow in the great hall at the castle.
fab couple, fab day (despite the wet start!!) & and a totally amazing reception to follow…….
