when i walked into karen’s bridal preparation room at Ballthie House Hotel a month ago, the bouquets, by something special flowers, were left in a box in the bathroom away from all the bridal prep taking place next door……..(a wise decision!). i just love how the light falls on the flowers and the delicate tissue paper and how the blue of the chair and the vase and the wallpaper gently adds a touch of colour to the muted tones of this image. i also love the contrast of light from the window & bouquets to the shadow of the chair & the box! and lastly, i like the contrasting lines created by this image – the vertical lines of the window shutters in contrast to the horizontal line of the window ledge to the intersecting diagonal line of the box!
