what a dull day it was last saturday as i left to photograph claire&sean’s wedding in st fergus’s church, glamis – followed by the reception at forbes of kilgennie……but thankfully it is true – the bbc weatherman is not always right and as i travelled east….the day cleared up beautifully.
it was such a pleasure & fun to photograph claire&sean’s wedding….i started the day at claires house, photographing the gorgeous diane linn wedding dress, followed by all the wedding accessories. whilst there – the flowers arrived by stucio & waow – www.stuciowaow.co.uk – just amazing – a perfect match for the bridesmaid dresses (pippa eat your heart out!!!!). claire & all her gorgeous bridesmaid were such fun to photograph and i left them tucking into some pink champagne to photograph sean and his groomsmen in glamis – having a swift pint before the ceremony!!
claire arrived at the church just as it started to drizzle (maybe the bbc weatherman was right after all!!!) but then walked down the isle to “somewhere over the rainbow” sung by a close friend – just beautiful……
the reception at forbes – was delightful – plenty of photographic opportunities down by the boathouse – the couple’s romantic getaway…..
instead of cutting the wedding cake – claire&sean shared (very original!) a “dundee football club” cupcake ……..the cakes by ruth were just amazing – each cupcake individually decorated.
i left as the pageboys and flower girls took to the dance floor ……and won the hearts of all….
