it was such a pleasure to be asked to photograph the third wedding for this lovely family from Comrie. Alice and Lee were the perfect wedding couple, so welcoming and natural and just so in love……..
the ceremony took place at Dundurn Church in St Fillans on an extremely rainy afternoon……it was just so wet …..the bridal party had to wait out the rain in the vintage land-rover at the church. David (Alice’s brother) braved the storm and played his pipes (and Lee waited patiently inside!!). finally the heavens cleared……after a beautiful wedding ceremony by Rev Craig, we managed to nip between the showers to photograph the confetti shoot at the church and couples shoot on a pier at St Fillans.
back to comrie for a reception in the grounds of Alice’s family home whilst music was played by Ola and Kenny, delicious food provided by Gourlays (really lovely to be working with you again!). after the funniest speeches……between each courses (which I love)……and an invigorating first dance and ceilidh, we walked down to the edge of Comrie at the golden hour to capture this gorgeous couple with the local hills behind.
