despite the constant rain & dreich weather…….lydia + james had such a fantastic perthshire wedding at bachilton barn…….this is an amazing venue which clearly can cater for a wedding in any type of weather conditions. after getting ready at home in comrie, lydia traveled the short distance to bachilton for her ceremony & reception. the lighting in the barn lends itself perfectly to photographing group shots. afterwards, lydia + james braved the weather so that we could take some romantic couples shots by the wee lochan ….. and later on some crazy bridal party images by the pergola!! in the late evening, i just loved photographing some really natural & relaxed images of lydia + james in the mist and the rain (and the mud) around the barn……
it was amazing to work with so many local suppliers……tomanha flowers, vivienne hyndman humanist, beetroot and chocolate caterers (thank you for the delicious food jamie!!), mobile measures …and of course bachilton barn (huge thanks to to eric who doubled up as my photography assistant!!).
what a gorgeous couple……you were a pleasure to photograph and game for any type of shoot (especially in the rain & mud …yikes!!!!). thank you so much for asking me to photograph your special day and i hope you enjoy this sneak peek!! JXX
